In July of 2020, Faith was shocked to see a notification on her phone from an app in which she thought she parted ways with months ago, hinge. In the midst of filling up gas somewhere in the middle of Michigan, she thought “why not” and opened the notification to see a face that immediately felt like home. Matt’s profile on hinge was beyond welcoming, so matching with him was a no brainer. After a couple of messages back and forth, Faith decided to take this to reality and give Matt her number, praying he would reach out. Within days the two of them met over a pizza at Grand Rapid’s Harmony Brewing company.
